A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAhEIM DETEP~~INING THE NECESSITY FOR AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION BY ID1INENT DO~~IN
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR HIGH"lAY EASEl\1ENT Al'JD
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
~mEREAS, public convenience and necessity reauire the
acquisition of certain real property within the City of Anaheim
for the following pur~oses, to wit: hignway easement and public
utility purposes; and
\iHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all that
certain real property herein described by the city of Anaheim for
highway easement and public utility purposes.
hJO~v, THEREFOP~, BE IT HESOLVED b;l the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of that certain real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particu-
larly described as follows, to wit:
An easement for road and public utility purposes, over,
under and across that portion of Lot 'rwenty-Six (26.) of
Anaheim Extension, as sho'\vn on a r..lap of Survey made by
~m. Hamel, and fileQ for record in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southeast corner of said Lot
~venty-Six, said point being the intersection of the center-
ling of Analiiem Boulevard (formerly known as Los Angeles
Street) and tIle centerline of Ball Road, as shown on said
survey; thence i~ 150 32 I 15 H t"l along said centerline of
Anaheim Boulevard, 98.56 feet; thence Westerly at right
angles from said centerline SO.OO feet to a point in a line
that is 'parallel v.1itl-L said centerline, said point also being
the true - point of beginning and the beginning of a tangent _.
curve concave l1orth\vesterly ~laving a radius of 25.00 feet;
tllence Sout.ilerly al1d vJesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 1050 27r 30': an arc distance of 46.01 feet
to the intersection with a line that is parallel with and
50.00 feet nortll of tne centerline of Ball Road; thence
Basterly along saiu ~arallel line to the intersection with
the aforementione6. parallel line .to Anaheim Boulevard;

BE IT rUI-{liHER RESOLVED that the City Council does 11ereby
I~nci allci cietern\in.::: that pUi)lic interes-c and necessi ty require the
ac:.ruisition of said lana by t.ne City of Anaheim for the afore-
mentioned purposes and "that tIle taking of the property herein-
aefore described is necessary therefor and that the uses to
which it is to be put are uses authorized by law and the taking
of said property is necessary to such uses.

authorize the acquisition of said property by the City of Anaheim,
