RESOLUTION NO. 82R-422
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 78R-772 AND
ADOPTING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES AND SERVICES
PURSUANT TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Resolution No.
78R-772, adopted a fee schedule of the National Electrical Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to repeal said
Resolution and adopt a new fee schedule for the National Electrical
Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council to adopt said
fee schedule by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered said fee increases
at a public meeting notice of which has heretofore been given in the
manner required by Section 54992 of the Government Code and at which
meeting oral and written presentations were invited and considered
concerning said fee and service charge increases; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that the hereinafter
specified fee and service charge increases do not exceed the estimated
amount required to provide the service for which the fee or service
charge is levied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 78R-772 is hereby repealed and
that the following fee schedule be, and the same is hereby, adopted
for the National Electrical Code:
NEW CONSTRUCTION
RESIDENTIAL: Single or Multi-family Dwellings. Fees listed in the
following paragraph for residential new construction include all
electrical installation when formula is applied to the square footage
of area.
Three cents ($.03) per square foot, plus $5.00 for
each service meter, plus $10.00 for permit issuance.
One cent ($.01) per square foot for detached or attached
garages on the same service.
HOTELS AND MOTELS: Use regular fee schedule for all areas except
garages.
One cent ($.01) per square foot for detached or attached garages
on the same service in hotel and motel occupancies.

A fee of $25.00 shall be paid for each annual Maintenance Electrician
Permit at the time such permit is issued. Fees for all new work
installed under such permit since date of last previous inspection
shall be paid according to the above schedule at the time such work is
inspected; these fees shall be in addition to fee paid at the time
annual permit is issued.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of August, 1982.
