RESOLUTION NO. 82R-451
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO EXECUTE
TRAINING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1982-1983.
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of
California Highway Patrol requires written training agreements
from any agency participating in the training programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Anaheim
desires from time to time to participate in certain training
programs sponsored and administered by the Department of Highway
Patrol; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim is required to authorize certain officers of the
Anaheim Police Department to participate in said training
agreements for the 1982-1983 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Manager of the City of Anaheim
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to sign said
training agreements when required for the fiscal year 1982-1983
as long as the amounts to be paid by the City of Anaheim are
within the Police Department budget for said fiscal year.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of
September, 19.82.
