RESOLUTION NO. 82R-489
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1831 AS SET FORTH
IN RESOLUTION NO. 78R-380.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
heretofore approved Conditional Use Permit No. 1831 by Resolution
No. 78R-380 on June 13, 1978; and
WHEREAS, said Conditional Use Permit No. 1831 approved
certain commercial uses and a restaurant in an industrial complex
located on certain real property more particularly described in
Resolution No. 78R-380; and
WHEREAS, the authorized agent of the permittee has
heretofore submitted an application to the City to amend said
Conditional Use Permit No. 1831 to permit the temporary display of
flags and banners in conjunction with the retail sale of furniture
on the premises; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
October 5, 1982, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said pUblic hearing
having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with
the provisions of Chapter 18.03 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to
hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed amendment
of Conditional Use Permit No. 1831; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after due consideration of
the evidence and testimony presented at said public hearing,
hereby finds and determines that the modification of Conditional
Use Permit No. 1831 in the manner hereinafter set forth is
necessary to permit reasonable operation under said conditional
use permit as granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Conditional Use Permit No. 1831 be, and
the same is hereby, modified and amended by the addition of new
Condition No. 24 to Resolution No. 78R-380 to read as follows:
824. That two permits for the display of flags
and banners shall be permitted per calendar year in
conjunction with the retail sale of furniture at 2981
East White Star. Each such permit shall be for a
maximum period of two weeks and such displays shall
comply with all applicable provisions of Section
18.05.074 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. This
condition, and the authorization contained herein,
shall expire at midnight on October 5, 1984.-

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically
amended herein, Resolution No. 78R-380 shall remain in full force
and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of October, 1982.
