1982-500 RESOLUTION NO. 82R- 500 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB CLASSES REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM FIRE ASSOCIATION, AND SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 80R-529 WHEREAS, Appendix "A" of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and Anaheim Fire Association provides that job classes shall receive a wage increase effective October 8, 1982, in accordance with the formula 66.6671 of the Consumer Price Index for the twelve month period ending August 31, 1982 and that such increase shall include the City paying three percent (3.01) of the employees P.E.R.S. contribution, and a minimum of three percent (3.0S) in wages; and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to adjust wages a minimum of three percent (3.0S) and to supersede Resolution No. 80R-529 which established rates of compensation for job classes represented by the Anaheim Fire Association; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that establishing rates of compensation for these classifications is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SECTION 1. SECTION 2. The letter "X" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees in that job class shall be exempt from overtime as provided in Personnel Rule 6.04. The letter "U" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees upgraded to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provided in Personnel Rule 6.41, Premium Pay. The letter US" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees in that job class shall be eligible for consideration for merit pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appropriate Salary Step. The letter "J" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees working in that job class may be paid a rate of five percent (5.01> below the "A" step of the salary schedule for that job class, as provided in Personnel Rule 4.42, Appropriate Salary Step. SECTION 3. The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for employees listed in Section 1 of this resolution shall be computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. SECTION 4. The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede Resolution Nos. 80R-548, 81R-200, 81R-303 and 82R-214. SECTION 3. The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for employees listed in Seotion 1 of this resolution shall be oomputed as provided in Personnel Rule 5. Hours of Work and Pay Day. and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. SECTION 4. The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede Resolution No. 80R-529.
