RRSOLUTION NO. 82R-526
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
TO CONDUCT AN AUCTION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
ON NOVEMBER 20, 1982.
WHEREAS, the unclaimed property set forth on Exhibit
nA", on file in the office of the City Clerk, has been in the
possession of the Police Department for a period in excess of
the time required to be held by law: and
WHEREAS, none of said property has been claimed by
the owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, said property is being sold pursuant to
Anaheim Municipal Code Section 1.12.070 and adopted in accordance
with Civil Code Section 2080.4 of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has caused a legal notice
to be published describing said unclaimed property and announcing
the date, time and place of said auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Police Department
is authorized to sell to the highest bidder at 9:00 a.m. on
November 20, 1982, at the Anaheim Police Department located at
425 South Harbor Boulevard, all unclaimed property set forth on
Exhibit "A", on file in the office of the City Clerk, which has
not been claimed by the owners of such property prior to said
auction date.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event of inclement
weather, said auction will be conducted on November 27, 1982, at
the Anaheim Police Department, located at 425 South Harbor Boulevard.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of November, 1982.
