RESOLUTION NO. 82R-556
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LA PALMA AVENUE,
EAST OF KRAEMER BOULEVARD. (82-2A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by
resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain
public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to
the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law;
and
\lHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and pUblished in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of November, 1982, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
\'lHEREAS, the Ci ty council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
\lHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the city of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of said public
utility easement, more specifically described as follows:
That certain easement for public utility purposes as
conveyed to the Ci ty of Anaheim by Donald H. Yoder,
Patricia Yoder, Frank H. Yoder, Jr. and Aria A. Yoder
by deed recorded on September 26, 1970 in Book 10341,
pages 479 and 480, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, located in the Ci ty of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California de-
scribed as follows:

A public utility easement for the installation and
maintenance of underground electrical conduit and
related electrical facilities, as shown on a map at-
tached hereto and made a part hereof, over, under and
across a strip of land 5 feet in width, unless other-
wise indicated on said map, lying within a portion of
Lot 15 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as per map
thereof recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Ci ty Counci 1 of the Ci ty of Anaheim this 16th day of November,
1982.
