RESOLUTION NO. 82R-576
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND INTERNATIONAL
BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL ij7.
WHEREAS, on February 2ij, 1982, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 81R-82 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City
of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47;
and
WHEREAS, Appendix "A" of the Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
Local Union No.. 47, Utilities Employees Unit provided for a reopening of the
Memorandum for wage rate changes only and;
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47, Utility Employees Unit, to discuss
wage rage changes and;
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated November 29, 1982 between
the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interest of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co~ncil of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated November 29, 1982 between the
City of Anaheim and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47.
is hereby approved and adopted.
