RESOLUTION NO. 82R-577
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 81R-83 WHICH
ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES
REPRESENTED BY THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF
ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL NO. 47, UTILITIES
EMPLOYEES UNIT.
WHEREAS Appendix "A" of the Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
Local Union No. 47, Utilities Employees Unit provided for a reopening of the
Memorandum for wage rate changes only and;
WHEREAS the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47, Utility Employees Unit, to discuss
wage rate changes and;
WHEREAS, as a result thereof. the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 81R-83 which established rates of pay for job classes represented by the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Local Union No. 47. Utility
Employees Unit, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
establishing new rates of compensation for these classifications is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
Section 1.
That effective October a, 1982 through December 16, 1982,
inclusive. the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the
City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any
of the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the follOWing salary
schedules in the Salary Schedule Master:

Section 2.
That effective December 17, 1982 through October 6, 1983,
inclusive, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the
City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any
of the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary

Section 3.
The letter "un preceding a schedule number indicates that
employees upgraded to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provided in
Personnel Rule 6.41, Premium Pay. The letter usn preceding a schedule number
indicates that employees in that job class shall be eligible for consideration
for merit pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17. Appropriate Salary
Step.
The letter "J" preceding a schedule number indicates that
employees working in that job class may be paid a rate of 51 below the "A"
step of the salary schedule for that job class, as provided in Personnel Rule
4.42, Appropriate Salary Step.
Section 4.
The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for
employees listed in Section 1 of this resolution shall be computed as provided
in Personnel Rule 5. Hours of Work and Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Premium
Pay.
Section 5.
The provisions of this Resolution shall amend Resolution No.
81R-83.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 30th day of November
1982.
