A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. PC81 -50 PERTAINING TO
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 80 -81 -23
(147 SOUTH BEACH BOULEVARD)
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1981, the Anaheim City Planning Commission by its
Resolution No. PC81 -50, did determine that a Negative Declaration was adequate to serve as the
required environmental documentation in connection with Reclassification No. 80 -81 -23 and did
approve Reclassification No. 80 -81 -23 to exclude that certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on Exhibit "A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference from the RS -A- 43,000 (Residential/Agricultural) zone and
to incorporate said property into the CL (Commercial, Limited) zone; and
WHEREAS, following the recommendation of the Anaheim City Planning
Commission, the City Council has not introduced and adopted an ordinance to reclassify the
property to the CL (Commercial, Limited) zone; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Planning Department has received a letter of request
from the property owner requesting that the Planning Commission rescind its prior approval of
Reclassification No, 80- 81 -23; and
WHEREAS, the PIanning Commission desires to set aside its approval of
Reclassification No. 80- 81 -23; and rescind Resolution No. PC8I -50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning
Commission has reviewed the request and does hereby rescind Resolution No. PC8I -50, which
heretofore approved Reclassification No. 80- 81 -23.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission
meeting of September 30, 2009. Said resolution is subject to the appeal provisions set forth in
Chapter 18.60 "Procedures" of the Anaheim Municipal Code pertaining to appeal procedures and
may be replaced by a City Council Resolution in the event of an appeal.
