RESOLUTION NO. 82R-606
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM MAKING APPLICATION TO THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR A PERMIT TO
CONSTRUCT, DEVELOP AND OPERATE WATER WELL
NO. 39 ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF ORANGE
AVENUE AND WESTERN AVENUE, IN THE CITY" OF"
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has an immediate need
to improve water production in the westerly portions of the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City has performed engineering studies
to determine economical locations for future well sites; and
WHEREAS, the City has held the necessary environmental
proceedings and has adopted a Negative Declaration on June 29,
1982, for the drilling and development of a domestic water
prOduction well at the southeast corner of Orange Avenue and
Western Avenue, in the westerly portion of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that, pursuant and subject to all of the
terms, conditione and provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter
7, Sections 4010 to 4035 of the California Health and Safety
Code and all amendments thereto, relating to domestic water
supplies, application by this City be made to the State Depart-
ment of Health Services, for a permit to construct, develop and
operate a reverse rotary drilled, gravel enveloped water well
known as Well No. 39 on the southeast corner of Orange Avenue
and Western A"venue, in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to sign and file said
application, a copy of which is attached hereto, with the State
Department of Health Services.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adoptQd by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of
December, 1982.
