4759ORDINANCE NO. 4759
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RELATING
TO THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF CORRECTIONS'
STANDARDS AND TRAINING FOR CORRECTIONS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to participate in a state
program established pursuant to Article 3 of Title 7 of the Penal Code
providing for training corrections personnel; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of receiving such state aid, the City of
Anaheim must adhere to certain standards and must enact an Ordinance so
stating.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. While receiving any state aid pursuant to
Article 3 of Title 7 of the Penal Code, the City of Anaheim will adhere to the
standards for selection and training established by the Board of Corrections.
, ICTION 2. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby (leciares that
should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this Ordinance of the Code,
hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be invalid, it. is tht� intent of the
Council that it would have passed all other portions of this Or diilwive
independent of the elimination herefrom of any such pest ion as may be
declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of September, 1986.
