ORDINANCE NO. 4795
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SUBSECTION .010 OF SECTION 1.12.010 OF
CHAPTER 1.12 OF TITLE 1 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MEETINGS OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Subsection .010 of Section 1.12.010 of Chapter
1.12 of Title 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is
hereby, amended to read as follows:
11.010 The regular and special meetings of the
City Council shall be held in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall within the Civic Center located at 200
South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California. Regular
meetings shall be held on Tuesday of each week at
12:00 noon; provided, that in the event that Tuesday
in any week shall fall upon an authorized City holiday
or upon any day appointed by the President of the
United States or by the Governor of the State of
California for a public feast, thanksgiving or
holiday, then in that event, the regular meeting shall
be held on the next succeeding day which is not a
holiday at the hour of 12:00 noon."
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the
elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
