RESOLUTION NO~ 86R-13l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM GRANTING A RATE INCREASE TO YELLOW CAB
COMPANY OF NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY, INCORPORATED~
FOR TAXI SERVICE IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
WHEREAS, Yellow Cab Company of Northern Orange County~
Incorporated, did on the 28th day of February~ 1986; file an
application for an increase in rates for taxi service in the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the 1st day of April~ 1986, was fixed for a
public hearing upon said application~ at the hour of 1:30 o'clock
p.m., in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center~ in the City
of Anaheim, and the City Clerk did thereupon give the applicant at
least ten (10) days' written notice of the time and place of such
hearing; and
WHEREAS, said application came on regularly for hearing
before the City Council at a regular meeting on said date and was
duly considered and the City Council does find and determine that
since th.e present rates were fixed, there have been large increases
in the costs of labor and fringe benefits, workers' compensation
insurance, auto liability insurance, and fuel~ and that the
application for 3.n increase in the rates is reasonable and should be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the application of said Yellow Cab Company of
Northern Orange County, Incorporated, for a new rate schedule as
follows, to wit:
$ 1.90 flag for the first 1/7 mile;
$ .20 per each additional 1/7 mile;
$15.00 per hour waiting time and traffic delay.
$ 2.00 Service Charge for cancellation after dispatch
of taxicab,
be, and the same is hereby approved and granted, and that said rates
shall apply to all taxicabs operated by said applicant. That said
rates shall be and remain in full force and effect until the further
order of the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall
supercede the provisions contained in any other resolution to the
extent such provisions are inconsistent with the provisions
contained herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
