A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM WAIVING NOTICE OF RENT-FREE
LICENSE AGREEMENTS BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to enter
into Rent-Free License Agreements with Cypress College
and California State University Fullerton for the
purpose of providing college-level classroom
instruction to County employees at the Orange County
Social Services office building located at 3320 E. La
Palma Avenue in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the
County to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
in writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into
Rent-Free License Agreements, unless such notice is
waived by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty-day notice ,requirement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the sixty-day notice required
by Government Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with
respect to the aforementioned Rent-Free License
Agreements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of-the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of
March, 1999.
