A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE BOUNDARIES
FOR THE FESTIVAL DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has heretofore approved an
ordinance adding new Section 18.38.135 to Chapter 18.38 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code relating to Festival Permits (the "Ordinance ") stating its intention to regulate temporary uses,
activities, events and signs related to large -scale events or functions held or conducted within the
Festival Districts; and
WHEREAS, the Festival Permit is intended to regulate the temporary uses,
activities, events and signs related to a Festival within three specifically defined areas of the City
called Festival Districts; and
WHEREAS, these areas generally surround and encompass the Honda Center,
Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and the Anaheim Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Festival Districts
by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the proposed boundaries of the Festival Districts are shown in Exhibits
A -1 (Arena District), A -2 (Convention Center District) and A -3 (Stadium District), which exhibits
are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1
The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
SECTION 2
That the Festival Districts as shown in Exhibits A -1 (Arena District), A -2
(Convention Center District) and A -3 (Stadium District) to this Resolution be, and the same are
hereby, approved and adopted.
SECTION 3
This Resolution shall not become effective unless and until the Ordinance is
effective.

the City of Anaheim this 9th day of February 2010, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Kring
