RESOLUTION NO. 86R-1SS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITIY
EASEMENTS LOCATED NORTHERLY OF LA PALMA AVENUE
AND WESTERLY OF WEST STREET. C85-9A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of April, 1986, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of certain
public utility easements, more specifically described as follows:
Easements for public utility purposes, as shown
within Parcell of Parcel Map No. 590, filed in Book
92, pages lS and 16 of Parcel Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Parcell: That portion of that certain 5 foot wide
public utility easement shown on said Parcel Map,
described as follows:

Beginning at a point S 1 degree 25' 10" W, 27.97 feet
from the northerly terminus of the course in said 5
foot wide easement shown on said Parcel Map as having
a bearing and distance of N 1 degree 25' 10" E,
168.00 feet; thence along said course N 1 degree 25'
10" E, 27.97 feet to an angle point; thence N 23
degrees 16' 53" E, 71.00 feet to an angle point;
thence N 1 degree 45' 49" E, 265.52 feet to the point
of terminus, said point being on the southerly right
of way line of that certain 5 foot wide easement
recorded in Book 12782, page 1291 of Official Records
having a bearing and distance of N 66 degrees 22' 38"
E, 81.58 feet. The side lines to be shortened or
lengthened to terminate on the last mentioned
existing 5 foot wide easement.
Parcel 2: All that certain 5 foot wide public
utility easement, together with the 8 foot by 8 foot
easement on the northeasterly terminus of same, as
shown on said Parcel Map having a bearing and
distance of N 39 degrees 35' 51" E, 55.76 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of April, 1986.
