RESOLUTION NO - 86R-168
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME OF WRANGLER TRAIL
AND TAFT AVENUE TO AUTO CENTER DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in receipt of a request
for a street name change within the City limits; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department of the City of Anaheim
has concurred in the request for the street name change as follows:
That the entire length of Wrangler Trail between
Ball Road and Taft Avenue and the entire length of
Taft Avenue from the Orange Freeway (Route 57) to
Wrangler Trail at the Santa Ana River be changed
to Auto Center Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim, and particularly those persons
having occasion to use said street, that the street name be
changed as so recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the entire length of Wrangler Trail between
Ball Road and Taft Avenue and for the entire length of Taft Avenue
from the Orange Freeway (Route 57) to Wrangler Trail at the Santa
Ana River be changed to Auto Center Drive as more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference, be, and the same is hereby, changed to Auto
Center Drive, and henceforth and hereafter such street shall be
known and designated upon all maps by the name to which it is
hereby changed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of April, 1986.
