RESOLUTION NO. 86R-174
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS
NORTHERLY OF BALL ROAD AND EASTERLY OF WESTERN
AVENUE. (85-2A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of April, 1986, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of those
certain public utility easements, more specifically described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set
forth in full.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of April, 1986.

EXHIBIT A
Public Utility easements over those portions of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, S.B.B.&M., in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1: An easement for an electric line, consisting of poles,
necessary guys and anchors, cross-arms, wires and other fixtures
and appliances, for conveying electric energy to be used for light,
heat, power, telephone and/or other purposes over that portion of
the South half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
the Southeast quarter of said Section 14, which was conveyed to
S.J. Perez by deed recorded February 10, 1950, in Book 1966, page
548 of Official Records.
All poles were erected and maintained within one foot of the following
described line:
A line parallel with and 13.00 feet easterly, measured at right
angles from the westerly line of said property of Perez.
Said easement was formerly granted to Southern California Edison
Company by deed recorded November 29, 1950 in Book 2108, page 19.6
of Official Records.
Parcel 2: Those easements granted to the City of Anaheim by deed
recorded October 17, 1962 in Book 6288, page 92 of Official Records,
described as follows:
Parcel One: An easement for underground drainage purposes under the
northerly 5.00 feet and the westerly 3.00 feet of the following
described property:
The West two and one-half (2 1/2) acres of the South half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes.
EXCEPT the Westerly 250.00 feet thereof.
Parcel Two: An easement for underground drainage under the easterly
3.00 feet of the following described property:
The easterly 80.00 feet of the westerly 250.00 feet of the West
two and one-half (2 1/2) acres of the South half of the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of the South~ast quarter of Section 14,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes.
