RESOLUTION NO. 86R-20l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 212, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1986, the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to
consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment
does consider amending the Circulation Element of the General Plan
to redesignate Hidden Canyon Road from a Hillside Commuter
Arterial Highway to a local street; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC86-78 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 212 be adopted by the City
Council in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 13th day of May,
1986, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic
Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 212 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 212 amending the Circulation Element of the General
Plan in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City should
be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 212 to the General Plan
amending the Circulation Element to redesignate Hidden Canyon Road
from Hillside Commuter Arterial to local street in accordance with
Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 212 as herein adopted and
approved.
