RESOLUTION 2010-053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING TWO PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED AT 555 N. STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD
PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAY
CODE SECTION 8330, ET SEQ. - SUMMARY VACATION.
(Abandonment No. ABA 2010 - 00183)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of two public utility easements
located at 555 N. State College Boulevard, Anaheim California, in order to clear title to the land for
the development of a new bank building; and
WHEREAS, the public service easements to be vacated are not necessary for present
or prospective public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the easements to be vacated are superseded by relocation of public
utilities and there are no other public facilities located within the easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of the two public utility easements, as set forth as follows:
(1) an easement for electrical facilities as set forth in a Corporation Easement Deed recorded in
Book 12294, Page 1422 of Official Records, Orange County, State of California; and, (2) an
easement for public utility purposes described as Parcel Two as set forth in an Easement Deed
recorded in Book 6291, Page 537 of Official Records, Orange County, State of California ; said
public utility easements are depicted on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized
and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete and the public service easements vacated shall no longer constitute public service
easements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 18th day of May , 2010, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Kring
