RESOLUTION 2010- 054
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED AT 711 E. LA PALMA AVENUE
PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAY
CODE SECTION 8330, ET SEQ. - SUMMARY VACATION.
(Abandonment No. ABA 2009 - 00200)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of a portion of an easement for
public utility purposes located at 711 E. La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, California, in order to clear
title to the land for future development; and
WHEREAS, the public utility easement to be vacated is not necessary for present or
prospective public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the easement to be vacated is superseded by relocation ofpublic utilities
and there are no other public facilities located within the easement; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order vacation of a portion of an easement for public utility purposes, as set
forth in a Grant of Easement recorded as Instrument Number 95- 0304242 of Official Records,
Orange County, State of California and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized
and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange, upon relocation of the existing electrical facilities and dedication of a new
easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete and the public service easement vacated shall no longer constitute a public service
easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 18th day of May , 2010, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Kring

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
A portion of an easement established by Instrument No. 95- 0304242, Official Records of Orange
County, California, located on Parcel One of Certificate of Compliance COC2003 -00038
recorded as Instrument No. 2003 - 000879871, official records of Orange County, located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California; more particularly described as follows:
A strip of Land 20.00 feet wide situated in the South East Quarter of Section 3, Township 4
South, Range 10 West of the San Bernardino Meridian, said strip being all that portion of the
easterly 55 feet of that certain parcel of land described in Grant Deed dated January 18, 1924,
from Aldrich Land Company to Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company, recorded in
Orange County Records on March 1, 1924, in Book 513 Page 215, that lies between lines
parallel with and 270.00 feet and 290.00 feet distant southerly, measured at right angles from the
north line of the South Half of the North West Quarter of the South East Quarter of said Section
3.
