RESOLUTION NO. 86R-272
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH WESTERN
NATIONAL PARTNERS VIII AND FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE SALE OF CERTAIN
CITY-OWNED PROPERTY TO BE IN THE BEST
INTERESTS OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, certain City-owned property (hereinafter PROPERTY)
consisting of approximately 4.3 acres of land located on the east side of
Loara street adjacent to and north of the Carbon Canyon Flood Control Channel
is not needed for present or prospective public purposes~ and
WHEREAS, an agreement (WAGREEMENTW) has been prepared whereby Western
National Partners VIII has agreed to purchase PROPERTY and to construct
thereon 100 residential units for low and moderate income persons~ and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of AGREEMENT are acceptable to the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by a vote of at
least two-thirds of its total members as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Anaheim does determine that
the sale and conveyance of PROPERTY to Western National Partners VIII is in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the terms and conditions of AGREEMENT with Western National
Partners VIII be, and they are hereby, approved.
3. That the Mayor and city Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized
and directed to execute AGREEMENT on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted this 17t:h day
