1975-571RESOLUTION NO, 75R-571 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2721. WHEREAS, after a request for variance by E. J. Johnson, owner, was received, a public hearing before the Planning Commis- sion of the City of Anaheim was held upon due and proper notice, as a result of which Variance No. 2721 was denied covering the following described property: PARCEL 1: The Northwesterly 240.00 feet of that portion of Vineyard Lot H-1, as shown on a map of the Lands of Anaheim, recorded in book 4, pages'629 and 630, Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot H-1; said Southeast corner being the intersection of the Westerly line of East Street 66.00 feet wide, and the Northerly line of South Street 24.75 feet wide, as shown on said map; thence North 15° 30' 00" West along said Westerly line of East Street, 402.99 feet to the Southeasterly corner of the land conveyed to Ke 1 -Ger, Inc . , in Parcel 1 of the deed recorded in book 3455, page 432, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence South 740 22' 35" West along the Southerly line of Kel-Ger, Inc., 331.20 feet to the East- erly line of the 20.00 foot wide strip of land conveyed to the city of Anaheim, by deed recorded in book 2729, page 208, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence South 150 30' 31" East along said Easterly line, 403.15 feet to said North- erly line of South Street; thence North 740 21' 04" East along said Northerly line, 331.14 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law, an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a public hearing, noticed and held as prescribed by law and, as a result thereof, the City Council does hereby make the following findings: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be ade- quately developed and used under the present zone, NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that said Variance be, and the same is hereby, denied.
