A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
_. OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND SAN GABRIEL
VALLEY MUNICIPAL DATA SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID FIRST
AMENDMENT TO JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
WHEREAS, San Gabriel Valley Municipal Data System
and Anaheim entered into a Joint Powers Agreement on October 9,
1973; and
WHEREAS, said Joint Powers Agreement -provides the
terms and conditions whereby San Gabriel Valley' Municipal Data
System and Anaheim jointly operate a data process -center; and
4HEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend said
Agreement by adding a mutual indemnification and hold harmless
clause to said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a First
Amendment to Joint Powers Agreement adding an indemnification
and hold harmless clause to the Joint Powers Agreement of
October 9, 1973 be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said First Amendment to Joint Powers
Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
