A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING REVISED NATIONAL FLOOD
HAZARD BOUNDARY MAPS (REVISED, DATED JANUARY
17, 1975)
I- HEREAS, the City Council has received Special Flood
Hazard Boundary Maps pursuant to the National Flood Insurance
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did challenge the official
findings in the maps received; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said challenge -by the City of
Anaheim, a re -study of the flood hazard boundaries was undertaken
by the Federal Insurance Administration; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said re -study, new maps dated
January 17, 1975, have been issued by the Federal Insurance Admin-
istration which delete the major ?portion of the City of Anaheim
from the special flood hazard area; and
11HEREAS, the City of Anaheim has studied the revised
preliminary special flood hazard and determined that then are an
acceptable delineation of the flood prone areas of the City of
Anaheim; and
lflHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Ana-
heim to approve the Special Flood Hazard Area Maps dated January
170, 1975, and. issued by the Federal Insurance Administration,
NOW, THERE. -POPE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Special Flood Hazard Area Maps this
day presented dated January 17, 1975, revising the flood prone
area of the City by deleting the major portion of the CitX7 from
the flood area be, and the same are hereby approved

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution No. 75R-545 on the 21st day of
October, 1975.
