A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GPZANL TING VARIANCE NO . 2729.
TPRIEREAS , after a request for variance by Gus Manda s ,
owner, was received, a public hearing before the Planning Con iis-
sion of the City of Anaheim was held upon due and proper notice
as a result of which Variance No. 2729 was denied covering the
following described property:
rLlhe North 130.00 feet of Lot 16 in Tract No. 2534,
in the city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of
California, as per ina p recorded in boo's 115, pages
15 and 16 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of
the county recorder of said county.
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested -arty or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Cornission action at a public hearing
noticed and held as prescribed by law and,, as a result thereof,,
the City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are special circumstances applicable to
theproperty including; size, shape, topography, lo-
cation or surroundings, which uo not apply to other
property under identical zoning classification in
the vicinity.
2. That, because of special circumstances shown in
(1) above, strict application of the zoning code
deprives the property of privileges enjoyed by
other property under identical zoning classifica-
tion in the vicinity.
NOW, THEREFOFZ, DE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheira, that a conditional zoning variance be, and
-the same is hereby, granted to permit seven (7) freestanding signs
on the aforedescri.bea property with waiver of -the following sec-
tions of the Anaheim Municipal Code:
SECTIUN 18.05.093.021 - Maximum number of signs.
(One freestanding sign permit-
ted; seven existing)
SECTION 18.05.093.023 - Permitted sign location.
(Kiddle 20% required; existing
signs located adjacent to the
property line)
SECTION 18.05.093.0231 - Minimum distance between signs.
(300 feet required; approxi-
mately 75 feet and 3 feet ex-

That said Variance is granted subject to the following conditions:

1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file with the Office of the Director of
Public Works,
2. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City
of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby re-
serves the right to revoke such variance permit for good cause or
failure of said owner, his heirs, successors or assigns to comply
with the Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations and the conditions
herein. Said variance is granted for the term prescribed by the
Anaheim Municipal Code unless otherwise specified herein.
