A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
...de.,. OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1971, in connection with a request for
vacation and abandonment of that portion of a public street,
commonly known as Gain Street, in the City of Anaheim, and
more fully hereinafter described, subject to the following
reservations:
1. Reserving unto the City of Anaheim an easement
for public utility and drainage purposes, over,
under, along and across the westerly 20 feet of
the easterly 35.00 feet and the Westerly 10.00
feet of the within described parcel.
2. Also reserving therefrom unto the Southern Cali-
fornia Gas Company a utility easement under,
along and across a strip of land 10 feet wide
being the easterly 10 feet of the westerly 20
feet of the within described parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention
to vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of a
public street, commonly known as Gain Street, in the City of
Anaheim, as it may relate to the following described property:
That portion of a public street, commonly known as
Gain Street, as shown on the map of Tract No. 6691
recorded in Book 250, pages 20 and 21, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be abandoned, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 22 in said
Tract 6691; thence N 88° 58r 00" E, 60.00 feet to
the northwest corner of Lot 23 of said Tract 6691;
thence S 10 01' 11" E, 85.20 feet along the west
line of said Lot 23 to the beginning of a curve con-
cave northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet;
thence Southerly and Southeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 90° 00' 00" an are
distance of 23.56 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 30 feet northerly of the centerline
of Chain Avenue; thence S 880 59' 49" W, 90.00 feet
to a point in a line tangent to the beginning of a
curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of
15 feet; thence Easterly, Northeasterly and Northerly
along said curve through a central angle of 900 001

with a line parallel with and 30.00 feet westerly of
Reserving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim an

Also reserving therefrom unto the Southern California
Gas . Company a utility easement under, along and
across a strip of land 10 feet wide being the east-
erly 10 feet of the westerly 20 feet of the above
described parcel.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1971, subject to the reservations hereinabove
set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on' the 18th ' day of
November, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council `Chamber in
the City. Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the .City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
