A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM D;?CLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING
A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1971, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of a portion of dedicated right of way of Serrano
Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter de-
scribed.
N0W7, THEREFORE, BE IT U.4ASOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use a portion of dedicated
right of way of Serrano _venue, in the City of Anaheim, as it
may relate to the followin.a described property:
That portion of dedicated right of way commonly known
as Serrano Road located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, de-
scribed as follows:
Commencing at the southwesterly t^ a rminus of the curve
in the centerline of Serrano Avenue, having a radius
of 2000 feet and a central angle of 8° 15' 5111 an arc
distance of 228.47 feet as shown on a map of Tract
8377 recorded in Book 345, pages 44 through 47, in-
clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, said point of beginning being distant 228.47
feet from a point 2.38 feet east of the east line of
said Tract 3377; thence Southwesterly along said cen-
terline a distance of .20.58 feet; thence Southeasterly
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 38.00
feet southerly to the centerline of said Serrano Ave-
nue, said point of intersection being the true point
of beginning; thence N 39° 51' 15' E, 11.30 feet
thence N 52 37 37 .�, 30.16 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a
radius of 2035.50 feet; thence Northeasterly along said
curve t-hrou¢h a central angle of 2° 43' 401' an arc dis-
tance of 96.91 feet; thence N 53° 40' 31' E, 33.74 feet
to a point in a curve in the southerly right of way
line of said Serrano Avenue, having a radius of 2038.00
feet, a radial line bearing S 41' 02' 50'° L passes
through said point; thence Southwesterly along said
curve through a central angle of 3" 40' 27" an arc dis-
tance of 130.69 feet; thence S 52° ?7' 37`' W, 41.18
feet to the true point of beginning.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1971.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or ob=ecting to the proposed vaca-
tion and abandonment- has been fixed on the 28th day of

AND B"' IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City of Anaheim,
