A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 75R-420
_,03,.,. AND APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT DATED
Sgptember 30 1975, WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND
ORANGE U HARBORS, BEACHES AND PARKS
DISTRICT IN CONNECTION WITH YORBA REGIONAL
PARK AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange and Orange County
Harbors, Beaches and Parks District are in the process of
developing within the City of Anaheim Phase I of Yorba
Regional Park of the Orange County Master Plan of Regional
Parks; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, recognizing the
special benefits it will derive from the construction and
operation of a regional park by said County and District
within the City of Anaheim, desires to cooperate in such
construction and operation; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Council approved the
terms and conditions of that certain agreement between the
City and the County of Orange and the Orange County Harbors,
Beaches and Parks District by Resolution No. 75R-420 on
August 5, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange desired to make
certain minor changes to said agreement; and
WHEREAS, said County of Orange has submitted a
new agreement, the terms and conditions of which are satis-
factory to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests. of the City
to rescind Resolution No. ?5R-420 which approved the terms
of a certain agreement with the County of Orange and Orange
County Harbors, Beaches and Parks District in connection with
Yorba Regional Park and enter into a new agreement dated
September 30'. 1975
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by -the' City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 75R-420 be
rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions
of an agreement dated September 30, 1975 , with 'the County of
Orange and Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks District
in connection with the construction and operation of Yorba
Regional Park be, and the same are hereby, approved, and that
the Mayer and City Clerk are authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
