A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
�- OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DE-
SCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 2nd clay of September, 1975, by Resolution No. 75R-470,
in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of an
existing dedicated street commonly known as Adams Street,
located between Broadway and Manchester, east of Loara Street,
in the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described,
sub:= ec t to the following* conditions:
1.
That a public utility easement be reserved over,
under and across all of said street together with
all rights of ingress and egress for maintenance
purposes to accommodate existing City of Anaheim,
Southern Counties Cas Company and Pacific Telephone
Company facilities
2. That applicant, at no cost to City, install standard
curb, gutter and pavement along the proposed new
cul-de-sac of Adams Street and at the intersection
of babel Street, substantially in accordance with
plans and specifications of the City, as indicated
on the plans to be approved filed in reference to
Special Pro:I' ect No. 1.083,
set the 23rd day of September, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. for
a public nearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 23rd day of September, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that said existing dedicated street
commonly known as Adams Street, located between Broadway and
Manchester, east of Loara Street, in the City of Anaheim, as it
may relate to the property described herein, is unnecessary for
present or prospective public utility purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law,
That that portion of the real property toward
which a request for vacation and abandonment was.
directed is not necessary for present or prospec-
tive public utility purposes and does hereby order
that said portion, as herein set forth, be and it
is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public
use, subject to the conditions hereinabove set
forth -
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is situ-
ated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is more particularly described as
follows, to wit:
PARCEL ONE:
That portion of Adams Street, 60 feet wide, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a map of Record of Survey, filed in Book 92, page 9, Record
of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, and that portion of Mable Street, 50 feet wide, in
said City, described in the deed of easement to said City,
recorded on March 8, 1973, as Doc. #7367, recorded in Book
10586, page 422, Official Records, included within the fol-
lowing described lines:
Beginning; at the southeasterly terminus of that certain
course in the northeasterly boundary of said Mable Street,
described in said deed of easement as having a bearing and
length of S 57° 08' 30'° 3,, 222.03 feet, said southeasterly
terminus being the beginning of a tangent curve in the
northerly boundary of said Mable Street, said curve being
concave northwesterly and having a radius of 13.95 feet;
thence Southeasterly, Sasterly and Northeasterly along said
curve, through a central_ angle of 102° 36' 36", an arc dis-
tance of 24.98 feet to its point of tangency in the north -
Westerly line of said Adams Street; thence N 20c' 14' 54-
along said northwesterly line, 303.69 feet to an angle
pointtherein; thence NT 69" 09' 431 ill continuing along said
northwesterly line of said Adams Street, 138.58 feet to the
most easterly corner of the 8.092 acre parcel of land as
shown on said map of Record of Survey; thence S 570 08' 30"°
along the southeasterly prolongation of the northeasterly
line of said 8.099 acre parcel. of land, 74.45 feet to a
point in the southeasterly line of said Adams Street;
thence S09' 09' 43' W along said southeasterly line, 1.55.37
feet to an angle point therein; thence S 20° 14' 541- W con.-
tinuing: along said southeasterly line of said Adams Street,
:?65.71 feet to a point of cusp with a non -tangent curve con-
cave southwesterly having a radius of 73.00 feet and bein
tangent at its point of ending to the southeasterly pro-
f onv:ation of said certain course having a bearing and length
of S 57° 48' 30! : , 222.03 feet, said point of ending beipry
a point in the northwesterly line of said Adams Street;
thence Nort`i.erly and Northwesterly along said curve, throu.gh
a central angle of 77" 2' ' ?4F-, an arc distance of 98.0.

Commencing at the southerly terminus of that certain course
having; a bearing and length. of N 1.5" 32' 081 W, 282.12 feet-
in the centerline of Adams Street, 60 feet wide, as shmm,
on a map of Record of Survey, filed in Book 92, page 9.
Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of
said Country; thence N 15° 32' 08' W along said certain
course ?8.40 feet to a point, said point being the center
of a curve concave northerly, having a radius of 35.00 feet
and being tangent to the southeasterly prolongation of the
northeasterly line of the 8.092 acre parcel of land as
shown on said map; thence S 71* 58' 49.5'° W along the radial
line of said curare, 35.00 .feet to its point of intersection
with that certain course having a bearing the len-eyth of N
69" 09' 4-11" �, 1.53.31 feet in the northwesterly boundary of
said Adams Street, as shown on said map, said point of in-
tersection being the True Point of Beginning; thence S 690
09' 431, W along said last mentioned course, 9.74 feet to the
most easterly corner of said 8.09.2 acre parcel of land;
thence S 57° 08' 30' - along the southeasterly prolongation
of the northeasterly line of said 8.092 acre parcel of land,
11.2.44 feet to its }point of intersection with a line that
is parallel with and distant northeasterly 30.00 feet,
measured at riryht angles from said certain course and its
southeasterly prolongation, having: a bearing and length of
N 15 ?2' 08' � , 202.12 feet; thence N 15 32' 081 W along
said parallel line, 68.47 feet to its point of intersection
with said curve, a radial line of said curve to said point
of intersection bears S 74° 31' 56` E; thence Southwesterly,
Westerly and Northwesterly along; said curve, through a cen-
tral angle of 146* 30' 45.51-, an arc distance of 89.50 feet
to the True Point of Beginnincy.
Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility purposes
together with all rights of ingress and egress for mainte-
nance purposes over, under, along and across the herein-
above described real property.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
