A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITIES OF ANAHEIM AND GARDEN GROVE
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM DRAIN AT EUCLID
STREET AND ORANGEWOOD AVENUE,
WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim and Garden Grove did
enter into an Agreement on the 26th day of March, 1974 to
provide for the construction of an underground storm drain
and appurtenances at Euclid Street and Orangewood Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the same two parties entered into a First
Amendment to Agreement to modify the storm drain alignment
from Lida Lane to Euclid Street; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties -to-enter
into a Second Amendment to Agreement to change the amount of
contribution to be made by the City of Garden Grove; and
WHEREAS, a Second Amendment to Agreement has been
submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into by
the parties, which Agreement the City Council finds -to be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the- City of Anaheim that the Second Amendment to Agreement
this day submitted to change the amount of contribution to be
made by the City of Garden Grove be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
