A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS, HIGHWAYS AND EASEMENTS.
(ABANDONMENT NO. ABA2019-00390)
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare
its intention to vacate the following public streets, highways and service easements pursuant to the
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easement Vacation Law (Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code) to -wit:
The abandonment of that certain real property located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange State of California, described as five
excess portions of right-of-way, (1) the Westerly one-half of Zeyn
Street in Block 2, (2) the Northerly 200.00 feet of that certain alley
lying between Lots 23 through 26, and Lots 1 through 4, in Block 2,
(3) the Northerly 200.00 feet of Lemon Street lying between Lot 1
through 4 of Block 3, and Lots 23 through 26 of Block 2, (4) the
Northerly 150.00 feet of that certain alley lying between Lots 24
through 26, and Lots 1 through 3, in Block 3, (5) the Northerly 150.00
feet of Clementine Street lying between Lot 1 through 3 of Block 4,
and Lots 24 through 26 of Block 3, all described portions lying within
Tract No. 419, as shown on a Map recorded in Block 16, Page 2 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said
County, as depicted on a map attached hereto as Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in the proposed vacation
will be heard at a hearing to be held at 5:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter maybe heard, in
the Council Chamber of the City Council located in the Civic Center located at 200 South
Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California 92805, on April 18, 2023.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 7 day of March _2023, by the following roll -call vote:
AYES: Mayor Aitken and Council Members Rubalcava, Diaz,
Leon, Kurtz, Faessel and Meeks
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
