RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 46.',~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 5th day of August, 1975, by Resolution No. 75R-422, in
connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of a
portion of an existing public utility easement located at 955
4~bridge Street, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully herein-
after described, set the 26th day of August, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 26th day of August, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of" the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that that portion of an exist-
ing public utility easement located at 955 Ambridge Street, in
the City of Anaheim, as it relates to the property described
herein is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. Tnat that portion of the real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective public
utility purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set forth, be and it is hereby
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use 1s situ-
ated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is more particularly described
as follows, to wit:
That portion of an existing 8 foot public utility
easement to be abandoned, located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed as follows~
The easterly 3 feet of the westerly 8 feet of Lot 3
in Tract No. 4443, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 156, pages 32 and 33, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
....
