RESOLUTION NO. 75R-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A PROCEDURE AND FORM OF
REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT COVERING REIMBURSE-
MENT TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR COSTS INCURRED
IN THE EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORTS RELATING TO ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS BY
THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Environmental Impact Reports are now required
on annexation proceedings before the Local Agency Formation
Commission; and
WHERF.,AS, the Local Agency Fornlation Commission requi.res
the City of Anaheim to pay various costs including, but not
limited to, filine and processing fees, negative declaration
fees and Environmental Impact Report fees; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is authorized, pursuant
to Section 35016 of the Government Code, to provide for the
payment of all expenses or annexation by the proponents of said
annexation; and
WHEREAS, a form of reimbursement agreement has been
prepared covering the reimbursement to the City of Anaheim for
costs fncurred in the evaluati.on of said Environmental Impact
Reports; and
WHEREAS, said procedure and form of reimbursement
agreement are in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei.m that the form and procedure for reimbursement
to the City of Anaheinl for the various costs including, but not
limited to, filing and processing fees, negative declaration
fees and Environmental Impact Report fees by the Local Agency
Formatton Commission be, and tl1e Sa111e is hereby, approved.
