RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 447'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY
IN CONNECTION WITH THE OVERBUILD OF JOINTLY
OWNED FACILITIES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT (66 'KV
CIRCUIT FROM SHARP TO HANNUM SUBSTATIONS).
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim operates' an electric
utility and desires to install, maintain and use constant
potential 81 ternat1ng curren.t cireui ts with 'voltage of not
over 70,000 volts between conducto.rs along the route 'of
certain poles whioh said City and Pacific Telephone and
Telegraph Company now use, own and maintain in the City of
Anahelm, County of Orange, State ot California, ,and located
on Julianna Street between Olive Street and Pauline Street
and on Commercial Street between Lemon Street and Patt
Street; and
WHEREAS, clrcui ts 'of the character proposed by. the
City and communication circuits are not ordinarily' installed
and maintained on the same pOles but in this particular case
the City and Pacific Telephone and Telegraph C'ompany are
willing to estab11'sh such highe'r voltage joln~ use; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City. of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it 1s in the best inte'rest of the City to
enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement between the City and Pacific Telephone and Telegraph'
Company providing tor the overbuild ot Jointly owned facl1i't,1es
be, and the same 'are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED th'at the Mayor and City. Clerk
of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized to execute 'said
agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
