RESOLUTION NO. 75R-' '439
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING CERTAIN AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER COMMISSION RELATING TO MANPOWER
PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENTS AND MODIFICATIONS
THERETO ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower C'ommission
has received a grant from the United States Department 'of
Labor, Manpower Administration under the' Comprehensive
Employment and Training Act of 1973 (PUblic Law 93-203,
87 Stat. 839), to provide additional public ser'vice' 'jobs'
and training programs for unemployed persons; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower Co~ss1on
agrees to appropriate funds to the City' of Anaheim as
Subgrantee for its use in conducting and operating such
programs, such funds to be paid to the' City of Anaheim as
Subgrantee for reimbursement of costs; and
WHEREAS, Agreements have been prepared and
submitted to the City Council for review covering the
following programs for the fiscal year 1975-1976:
(1) Manpower Planning Office, (2) Manpower Services Center,
(3) CETA II Public Service Employment Program and CETA VI
Work Experience Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to participate
in the above Programs and agrees to the requirements tor
operating such public employment programs and to give the
assurances that the City of Anaheim will comply with. all
laws, regulations, and executive orders as more particularly
set forth in said Agreements.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authorize the City Manager of the Cl,ty of Anahei'm
to execute said Agreements and Modifications thereto on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agree'ments th"is day submitt'ed
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the Orange County Manpower Co~ss1on
relating to Manpower Programs upon the terms and conditions
set forth in said Agreements be, and the same are hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or the
City of Anaheim be~ and he is hereby authorized to execute' '

and modifications thereto for and on behalf of the City of
Anahei'm.
