RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 420
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND ORANGE COUNTY HARBORS,
BEACHES AND PARKS DISTRICT IN CONNECTION WITH
YORBA REGIONAL PARK AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange and Orange County Harbors,
Beaches and Parks District are in the process of developing
within the City of Anaheim Phase I of Yorba Regional Park of the
Orange County Master Plan of Regional Parks; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, recognizing the special
benefits it will derive from the construction and operation of a
regional park by said County and District within the City of
Anaheim, desires to cooperate in such construction and operation;
and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to
enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agree-
ment with the County of Orange and Orange County Harbors, Beaches
and Farks District in connection with the construction and opera-
tion of Yorba Regional Park be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of August, 1975.
