RESO'LUTION NO. 75R-4l9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING A MINIMUM SEWER
CONNECTION CHARGE TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
FOR THE CREW FACILITY BUILDING AT THE ORANGE
REFUSE TRANSFER STATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has by Reao"lution No,.
63R-l establishe'd the sum of $350 per acre as the seve:1",
connection acreage fee tor the area of the City at Kate'lla
Avenue and Douglas Road; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Sanltatl'on District
has established a connection charge of $220 for the Katella'
Avenue and Douglas Road are'a; and
WHEREAS, the County or Orange wishes 'to construct
a crew facilities building at the Orange Refuse Transfer
Station at Katella Avenue and Douglas'Road; and
WHEREAS, the crew facilities build1pg will be
very small, only 250 square feet, and th'e County of' Orange
has requested a waiver of the total acreage tee and the'
establishment of a minimum fee in lieu thereot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the'
best interest to the City to waive the total fee and
authorize a minimum fee of' $350 for the C1'ty sewe'r, connection
fee; and'
WHEREAS, the City recognizes that it cannot waive,
but must collect, the Orange County Sanitation District
connection charge for said District in the amount of $220.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City sewer conne.ction fee for
the crew facility building at the Orange Refuse Tran'sfer
Station located at Katella Avenue and' Douglas Road ShRl1
be established at the minimum ree ot $350.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ci,ty sh"all 'colle'ct
the sum of $220 for the Orange County Sanitation,District
for its sewer connection charge for the Orange Refuse 'Transfer
Station crew facility.
