RESOLUTION NO. 75R-418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL
PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BALL ROAD AT
EATON WAt FOR A DISPOSAL SITE NOT TO EXCEED
THE SUM OF $194,,065.00..
WHEREAS, the City has been disposi~g of inert
materials at the' Lincoln Avenue/Santa Ana River Dump Site;
and
WHEREAS, this dump site is now full and the Ci.ty
1s in need of a new dump site tor inert. mater1alsj" and
WHEREAS, .on th'e south side of Ball Road, at Eaton
Way, there exists approximately 10.49 acres' which would
till the dump site needs of the City for approximately ten
(10) years; and
WHEREAS" the owner of said pr~per~y has '~greed to
sell said property to th~ City for $18',500..00 per acre or
not to exceed $194.06.5.00 .for the total 10..49 acres; and
tmEREAS, the City Council of the 'C1.ty' .of Anaheim
does determine it to be in the bes.t interest 'of the City'
to purchase said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Clty~ Council
that 1 t does authorize the purchase of 10. 49 .acres for the'
sum of $18 500.00 per acre, but in no event shall said .sum
exceed $194,065.00 total consideration for the real property.
on the south side of Ball Road at Eaton Way .as a dump site
for inert materials.
