RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 397
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
GAS CO!.fi'ANY PROVIDING FOR REIMBURS~NT BY
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS COZ.mANY FOR COST OF
CONSTRUCTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE. BOX IN
LIEU OF A PIPE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO E~CUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is planning _.
construction of a storm drain in Placent1a Ave~~~cfrom
Carbon Creek channel to La Jolla street, and
WHEREAS, the contemplated construction of such
drain will interfere with the location of a presently exist-
ing 36" high pressure gas line owned and maintained by the
Southern California Gas CQmpany: and
WHEREAS,.the Gas C~mp~y would be required to
relocate such --hi.gh" pre.ssure. gas line if an alternate means
of constructing the storm drain were not prov~d~~ fo~, and
WHEREAS, the City of ~aheim proposes.an alternate.
means of cons~ructing such stODm drain~ and (
WHEREAS, the Southern California Gas Company has
determined that the City of Anaheim is entitled to reimburse-
ment for added cost of alternate method of constructing sto~
drain, and - .,

WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, .~e ~-erms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditi"ons. of an
agreement between 1:he Ci ty of Anaheim and the South~rn
California Gas Company providing for reimbursement of the
City of Anaheim by the Southern California Company be, and
the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
