RESOLUTION NO. 751.- 375
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHBIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
DESCB.IBID HEREIN.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 24th day of June, 1975, declare by Resolution No. 75R-320
its intention to vacate and abandon those certain portions of
dedicated road and public utility easements lying within Tract
No. 8660 located north of La Palma Avenue, west of Magnolia
Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, subject to reservation of sani-
tary sewer easement to accommodate existing facilities within
Knollwood Circle, and more fully hereinafter described; and did
set the 22nd day of July, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. for a pub-
lic hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 22nd day of July, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that those portions of the real
property described herein and in said B.esolution of Intention
are unnecessary for present or prospective road and public util-
ity purposes.
NOW t THlBEFOBE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That those certain portions of the real property
toward which a request for vacation and abandonment
was directed are not necessary for present or prospec-
tive road and public utility purposes and does hereby
order that said portioDs, as herein set forth, be and
they are hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to
public use.
3. That said portions of re~l property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use are
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and are more particularly de-
scribed as follows, to wit:
Those portions of dedicated roadways, commonly known as
Woodland Drive and Knollwood Circle, and water line ease-
ments all lying within Tract No. 8660, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 349, pages 24 through 30, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be aban-
doned, described as follows:

Those portions of Woodland Drive, as shown on a map of
Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, in-
clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
lying westerly and northwesterly of a line concentric with
and distant 32 feet westerly and northwesterly, measured
radially, from the centerline of said Woodland Drive, as
shown on said map of Tract No. 8660.
Woodland Drive: Southeasterly side
Parcels 20 and 21:
Those portion. of Woodland Drive, as shown on a map of
Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, in-
clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
lying southerly and easterly of a line concentric with and
distant 32 feet southerly and easterly, measured radially,
from the centerline of said Woodland Drive, as shown on
said map of Tract No. 8660.
Knollwood Circle: Southwesterly side
Parcels 3 to 10, inclusive:
Those portions of Kno1lwood Circle as shown on a map of
Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, in-
clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
lying westerly and southwesterly of a line concentric with
and distant 32 feet westerly and southwesterly, measured
radially, from the centerline of Knollwood Circle, as shown
on said map of Tract No. 8660.
Reserving from said Parcels 3 to 10, inclusive, a lO-foot
wide sanitary sewer easement lying easterly and northeast-
erly of a line concentric with and distant 42 feet westerly
and southwesterly, measured radially, from. the centerline
of said Knollwood Circle.
Knollwood Circle: Northeasterly side
Parcels 11 to l6, inclusive:
Those portions of Knollwood Circle as shown on a map of
Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, ~ages 24 to 30, in-
elusive, Misc.ellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
lying easterly and northeasterly of a line concentric with
and distant 32 feet easterly and northeasterly measured radi-
ally, from the centerline of said Knollwood Circle, as shown
on said map of Tract No. 8660.
Reserving from said Parcels 11 and 12 a lO-foot wide sani-
tary sewer easement lying westerly and southwesterly of a
line concentric with and distant 42 feet easterly and north-
easterly, measured radially, from the centerline of said
Knollwood Circle. .

map of Tract Ro. 8660, as having a bearing and distance of
N 420 15' 30te W, 45.76 feet; thence N 890 45' 24" E, 290.70
feet; thence S 450 14' 36" E, 263.01 feet; thence N 440 45'
24ti E, 248.00 feet; thence S 450 14' 36" E, 2l2.15 feet to
a point on the northwesterly line of Woodland Drive, as
shown on said map of Tract No. 8660.
Parcel 24:
A lO-foot wide strip of land over and across that portion
of Lot 9, Tract No. 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349,
pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, the centerline of which is described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of a lO-foot wide
water line ea8ement shown on said map of Tract 8660, dis-
tant thereon S 450 14' 36" E, 34 feet from the northwesterly
terminus of that certain course on said centerline shown on
said map as having a bearin, and distance of N 450 l4' 3611
W, 263.01 feet; thence S 44 45' 2411 W, 17 feet.
Excepting from said lO-foot wide strip of land the north-
easterly 5 feet thereof.
Parcel 25:
A la-foot wide strip of land over and across that portion
of Lot 6, Tract 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349,
pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, lying 5.00 feet on each side of the fol-
lowing described centerline:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of the lO-foot wide
water line easement shown on said map of Tract 8660, distant
thereon N 440 45' 24" E, 23.50 feet from the southwesterly
terminus of that certain course on said centerline shown on
said map as having a bearin~ and distance of N 440 45' 24"
E, 241.80 feet; thence S 45 14' 36" E, 28 feet.
Excepting from said lO-foot wide strip of land the north-
westerly 5.00 feet thereof.
Parcel 26:
A lO-foot wide strip of land over and across that portion
of Lot 9, Tract 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349, pages
.24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, lying 5 feet on each side of the following
centerline:
Excepting fram said 10-foot wide strip of land the south-
easterly 5 feet thereof.
All of the above mentioned Parcel Nos. are shown on the
map of said Tract 8660, attached hereto and made a part
hereof, designated as Exhibit A.
4. That the City Council finds that a sanitary sewer
easement be reserved to accommodate existing facil-
ities within Knollwood Circle.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anahe~, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is
