A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM P~PROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLEIU< TO EXECU"TE SAID ENCROACH-
MENT PERMIT WITH FOREST LAWN CEMETERY ASSOCIA-
TION. (74-23E)
WHEREAS, Forest Lawn Cemetery Association, a
corporation, hereinafter referred to as Licensee, is the
owner of property in the City of Anahei.m over which the City
own.s a public utility easement; and
t;J'HEREAS, Licensee wi.shes to encroach upon a portion
of said easement for the purpose of permitting continuance of
an existing directory sign within the southerly parkway area
of Medical Center Drive; and
WHEREAS, unless Licensee is allowed to encroach
upon the easement of the City, an extreme and undue hardship
will be caused to Licensee; and
WHER.EAS, the proposed encroachment for such installa-
tion across a portion of the easement of City will not inter-
fere with the present use of the easement by the City.
NO\.v, TH:t~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counc il
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a
license agreement between the City of Anaheim and Forest Lawn
Cemetery Association, be and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
he and they are hereby authorized to execute said license
agreement for and on be'balf of the City o~ Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
