RESOLUTION NO. 2006 - 005
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of
ANAHEIM VACATING AN ELECTRICAL UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED AT 145 SOUTH VISTA GRANDE
(ABA No. 2005- 00116)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted,
declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of January, 2006, a public hearing was held to allow
interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and interest
to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does hereby order the vacation of the electrical utility easement located at 145 South Vista Grande as
more specifically described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not
be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder
upon the completion of all conditions set forth herein, if any.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 10thday of January , 2006, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Chavez, Galloway, Hernandez, Sidhu

EXHIBIT A
That portion of an electrical utility easement for the installation and
maintenance of electrical pole lines and related facilities, as set forth in a
Grant of Easement to the Southern California Edison Company,
recorded in Book 1945 Page 271 of Official Records, lying within the
boundaries of Lot 31 of Tract 14641, and subsequently acquired by the
City of Anaheim as part of a condemnation and related land use
entitlements.
