RESOLUTION NO. 75R-354
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF k~AHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZiNG
THE EXECUTIOl'I OF AN AGREEi(EN!T BETWEEN" THE
CITY OF ~~AHEIM AND THE PLACENTIA UNIFiED
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO OR~~IZE, PROMOTE AND
CONDUCT A JOINT PROGRAM OF COMMUNITY
RECREATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Placenti.a Unified
School District desire to conduct a program of community recrea-
tion that will contribute to the attainment of general educational
and recreational objectives for the children and adults of the
City and the School District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Placentia Unified
School District desire to cooperate with each other to carry out
the provisions of Chapter 6, Division 12 of the Education Code of
the state of California~and, to that end, enter into an agreelaent
with each other to organize, promote and conduct..a joint program
of community recreation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City to enter
into said agreement to organize, promote and conduct a joint pro-
gram of community recreation.
NOW, THEREFOHE, BE I'll RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that an agreement between the City and the
Placentia Unified School District providing for the orgallization,
promoting and conducting of a joint program of cmmnunity rec~ea-
tion as set forth therein be, and tIle same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and t~e City Clerk
be, .and they are hereby, authorized to execute said'lease for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
