RESOLUTION NO. 75R-. 344 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RATES, RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC ENERGY AS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 71R-478 AND. AMENDED BY RESOLUTIONS NOS. 73R-25, 73R-373, 73R-53l, 74R-75, 74R-630 AND 75R-243. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim does distribute electric energy to certain cus~omers who live in Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the electric rate schedules for the City of Anaheim be similar to the comparable rate schedules of the Southern California Edison Company; and WHEREAS, the method of application of the voltage discount as defined in Special Condition D of Schedule No. GS-2 (General Service) should be clarified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the rates, rules and regulations adopted by Resolution No. 71R-478 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 73R-25, 73R-373, 73R-531, 74R-75, 74R-630 .and 75R-243 be, and the same are hereby, amended as follows, to wit: ...--.. .... .. ........ Power Factor Adjustment: The charges will be adjusted each month for. the power factor as follows: The charges will be decreased by' 20 cents per ki1owat.t of measured maximum demana and will be increased by 20 cents per kilovar of readtive demand. However, in no case shall the'.kilovars used for the adjustment be less than one-fifth the number of kilowatts. The kilovars of reactive demand shall be calculated by mUltiplying the kilowa1;ts of measured'maximum . ,demand by the ratio of the kilovar-hours to-the kilowatt-hours. . Demand"s in kilowatts and kilovars shall be determined to the near~8t unit., A rachet. device will be installed on the kilovar~hour meter' to prevent'its reverse operation on leading power factor. . . Voltage Dis,count: The charqes before power factor and fuel cost adjustments will be reduced by 3' for service delivered and. .nietered . at voltages of from 2 to 10 KVi by 4' f~r service deli~J:ed and metered at vOltages of "from ll.KV to SO,KV; and by 5' for service delivered iUld metered at'voltaqes.from 50 KVI except that when only one transfo~ation from a transmission voltage level is involved,' a customer normally entitled to a 3% discount will he entitled to a 4% discount. , E. Tempora~ Discontinuance of Service: . Where the use of energy 'is seasonal or inte~ittent, no adjustment will be made for a temporary discontinuance ot service. ' Any customer prior 'to resuminq'service within twelve months after such service was discontinued will be required to pay all charge's which would have been billed if serv~ce had not been discontinued.' .
