RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 329
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT 'ON EACH. LOT '
AND PARCEL OF LAND CONTAINBD IN STREET LIGHTI,NG
MAiNTENANCE DISTRICT 1970-1 FOR THE CONTRACT
YEAR, JULY 1, 1975 TO JUNE 30,. 1976, .FOR .THE
AMOUNT EST'IMATED TO BE NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE
STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR SUCH ENSUING CONTRACT
YEAR. .
WHEREAS, .the City Council of 'the City of Anaheim has
established a street lighting maintenance 'district ~designate4
.Street Lighting Assessment District ,1970-1-; and '
WHEREAS, t:he Superintendent: of Streets. has 'estimated
the amount necessary to improve the street -ligh~ing sysbem for
the ensuinq cont.ract. year, July 1, 1975 to June 30,. .1976, to
be $1,904.00..
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the Cit.y Council 'of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council does determine that. .the' amount
necessary to improve t.he .st.reet lighting sy'stem for the .ensui~CJ
contract year is $1,904.00.
2. That the cost to each lot in proportion t.o. the
estimated benefits' to be received by each 'lot or parcel of land
is dete~ined to be, and each lot and parcel of land is assessed
and levy made against each .such lot and parcel' of land as follows:
The sum of $16.00 for each of the parcel numbers listed
on the attached form.
3. That all sums for the cost of maintenance or
improvement of the street lighting system for the ensuing
contr.act year, from July 1, 1975 to June 30, 1976, are 'her.eby
declared to be a lien upon the property in "S.treet Lighting
Assessment Distric~ 1970-1" and shall be collected with the'
taxes on the said property.
4. That the Director of Finance of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereb.y, authorized and directe.d to' file' with
the County Auditor of the County of Orange on or before August 9,
1975, a certified copy of this resolution and a certified copy of
the report of the Superintendent of St.reet.s 'hereby confi~ed; and
the County Auditor is authorized and requested to enter each
assessment in the County tax rolls opposite the parcel. of land and
add the amount of the assessment to the next .regular tax bill'
levied against each of said parcels for municipal purposes.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
