RESOLUTION NO. 72R-' 50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEXM REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO
DELETE A CE~TAI.N STREET FROM THE 'COUNTY ARTER-
IAL HIGHWAY MASTER PLAN..
WHEltEAS, the County of OriJlnge ha.s previously designated
West Street, from Lincoln Avenue 1:0. La Palma Avenue 'on the County
Arterial Highway Master Plan as a Secondary Arterial Hiqhway; and
WHEREAS, the Circulation Element of the General Plan
Relating to Arterial S1:ree.t.s and Hi<Jhways and H~9hway' Rights-of-
Way has designated West Street from Lincoln Avenue to La Palma
Avenue as a Local Street; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of
the City of Anaheim and the Count.y of Orange 1:0 have said street
bear a unifo~ street designation.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RE,SQLVED by the. Ci ty Council of
the City. of Anaheim 1:hat the County of Orange is. 'hereby urged and
requested to delete West Street, from Lincoln Avenue to La Pa~a
Avenue from the County of Orange Arterial Highway Master Plan as
a Secondary Highway.
BE IT FURTHER RE.SOLVED that a copy of this Resolu'tion
be forwarded to the County of Orange.
