A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A
REQUEST TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
FOR FUNDS FROM THE CROSSING PROTECTION FUND
FOR PROTECTION OF CROSSING NO. 2-169.2
AT THE INTBRSECTION OF ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND
SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY TRACKS AT BALL ROAD
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. '

WHEREAS, the legislature of the. State of California
has created a crossing protection fund for.the assistance of
local agencies in the construction of crossing protections to be
administereQ by the Public utilities Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Commission, by its order
in Public Utility Commission Case No. 5495, has prescribed that
certain info~ation and exhibits be set forth in requests for
crossing protection funds, including a .,resolution from the leq.is-
lative body of the local agenqy authorizing:the submission of a
request for said funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a request. in conformity with the pro-
cedure contained in the order in Public utility Commi..sion Case
No. 5495 be. submitted to the Public utilities Commiss'ion, re-
questing funds from the Crossing Protection.~Fund for the protec-
tion of 'Crossing'Noo ?-169 1 at the intersection of

in the Ci tv of Anaheim ...
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Engineering .Department
of the City of Anaheim shall take all necessary steps to prepare
and submit such request to the Public Utilities Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute .said request for crossing protec-
tion funds and to verify said request as prescribed in Appendix
ItA" of said order in Public utility Commission Case No. 5495.
