A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A RATE INCREASE TO YELLOW
CAB COMPANY OF NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY, INCOR-
PORATED, FOR TAXI SERVICE IN THE CITY O;F
ANAHEIM,
WHEREAS, Yellow Cab Company of Northern Oranqe: County,
Incorporated, did on the 2nd day of December, 19'70,. file an
application for an increase in rates for taxi service in the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the 11th day of January, 1972,. was fixed for
a public hearing upon said application, at "the hour of 1:30
o'clock P.M" in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall,'
in the City of Anaheim, and the City Clerk did thereupon give
the applicant at least ten (10) days' written notice of the "time
and place of such hearing; and
WHEREAS, said application came on regularly for he..ring
before the City Council at a regular meeting on said date ana
was duly considered, and the City Council does find and determine
that since the present rates were fixed, the boundaries of the City
of Anahe~ have been greatly extended and that .said applican~ is
required to serve a much greater area than was required when the
present rates were fixed I and that the application for an increase
in the rates is reasonable and should be granted. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the application of said Yellow Cab
Company of Northern Orange County, Incorporated, for a new rate
schedule as follows, to wit:
$ .50 minimum, and the first 1/4 mile;
$ ,50 per each additional mile;
$6.00 per hour waitinq time and traffic delay,
be and the same is hereby approved and granted; and that sai4
rates shall apply to all taxicabs operated by ,said applicant.
That said rates shall be and remain in full force and effect
until the further order of the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and siqned by me
this 11th day of January, 1972.
